Abstract:
More and more sports teams are looking to utilize the power of data analytics to drive sports performance, leading to the emergence of the sports analytics industry. It requires professionals who can apply data analytics in various sports. Accordingly, there is a need for educational programs for this industry. The article explores the experience of implementing a master's program in the direction of "Sport" on the profile of "Sports Analytics" in a sports university. According to the experience of implementation of the master's program, the following conclusions can be made: the educational program is relevant and prepares in-demand specialists; the content of special disciplines really forms a new field of knowledge.
